Chinese New Year Celebration

To celebrate the Chinese New Year, welcome new families, and show our appreciation to our

Board and Staff members, let’s have a potluck dinner, play games and party!

DATE: Sun. 2-11-‘07, 5 pm - 7 pm, right after School.

PLACE: Dinning area on the 2^nd floor and Gym of SJID.

DINNER:

v Potluck. Please bring enough food for at least two families. (Please use slow cooker or other electrical food warmer for hot food if possible. Refrigerator space is available but limited!)

v Jimmy Hsu has donated forks & spoons. Lucky Trading has donated oranges. School will provide ice, paper goods and others.

GAMES & PRIZE:

Children play games designed by our STUCO (Student Council) in the Gym and receive a surprise prize from their parents after playing the games of their choice. (Parents: Please bring a wrapped prize with your child’s name on it to the Gym.)

Hands-on Chinese Science activities provided by the St. Louis Science Center.

Chess and playing cards will be available. Feel free to bring your own favorite game to play.

HELP: Everyone, please help with set-up or clean-up.
