聖路易中文學校中國新年聚餐慶祝會快訊

聖路易中文學校在二月十一日放學後,上百人在學校聚餐、抽獎、玩遊戲, 一起同樂, 慶祝中國新年, 並歡迎新學生家庭和謝謝校董及職員們的辛勞.

學生智囊團策劃了這次的慶祝活動. 大家在享用各式各樣的美食的同時, 也觀賞了介紹中國新年, 和學校舞獅, 舞龍隊表演的錄影帶, 聚餐、聊天時, 很多人踴躍地買助校獎券,大家興奮地抽獎和捐獎, 高高興興地把由聖路易科學館、校友和很多家庭捐贈的獎品帶回家. 餐後, 全家玩由學生智囊團設計和主持的多元化中國遊戲, 孩子們玩遊戲以後,很高興地拿到父母精心準備的獎品. 大家都很喜歡這一次的中國新年聚餐同樂會.

Extra: The Chinese New Year’s celebration party at the St. Louis Chinese Language School.

On Sunday, February 11, the St. Louis Chinese Language School welcomed the year of the Golden Boar with a school wide celebration party. The celebration, which was planned by the school’s Student Council, was also used to welcome families of new students and show appreciation to Board & Staff members for their service. Many families remained after school and enjoyed the potluck dinner while viewing a videotape of the Chinese New Year introduction and the school’s recent Lion & Dragon Dance performances. Special thanks to the St. Louis Science Center and numerous current and alumni families, who generously donated prizes for the raffle drawings. Funds raised in the raffle will be used for future social events. After dinner, families 對這次played multi-intelligence Chinese games which were designed, setup and led by the Student Council. Children certainly were glad to receive the surprising prize given to them by their parents. Everyone gave a thumb up for this event.
