聖路易中華日網站已經成立

一年一度大聖路易地區中華文化盛會「中華日」﹐今年訂于五月十九日、二十日兩天在聖路易市的密蘇里植物園盛大舉行，中華日首次的網站已經成立。

這個網站和它的網頁是由聖路易中文學校 (http://www.stlcls.org) 負責設計的。聖路易中文學校是中華日籌備單位之一。學校董事會主席胡亞華女士﹐校長康淑榕女士和對外表演協調主任陳慧靈女士都是籌備委員。聖路易中文學校這學期有一個教授網頁設計的課外活動。學校電腦智囊團團員王龍和王津海義務帶領兩位初中生和他們的父親們用這一門課外活動的時間﹐設計了中華日網站。大家每星期日集思廣意﹐安排和設計由中華日籌備委員們提供的資料﹐在短短一學期內﹐王龍完成了主要的結構和網頁。中華日籌備委員們和密蘇里植物園都讚不絕口﹐更非常謝謝他們的義務服務。

The Chinese Cultural Day’s website http://www.stlccd.org is ready for you.

The annual Chinese Cultural Day (CCD) will be held on Sat. 5-19 and Sun. 5-20 at the Missouri Botanical Garden. Its first website http://www.stlccd.org is live.

This beautiful website was designed by a team of the St. Louis Chinese Language School. The St. Louis Chinese Language School is one of the volunteer organizations of the CCD Planning Committee. School Board Chair, Lisa Hu, Principal, Susan Kang Butler and Coordinator of Outside Performances, Huiling Chen are all active members of the Planning Committee. The St. Louis Chinese Language School piloted a new Chinese Web Design class this semester. Every Sunday, using the Chinese Web Design Enrichment class, two Computer Gurus of the Computer Guru Committee, Alan & JinHai Wang, volunteered to lead two pre-teen students and their fathers in creating and designing this CCD’s 1st website. The team brainstormed the layout and format of the website. They worked on the contents provided by the CCD Planning Committee. Alan Wang completed the technical tasks. Their production wowed the CCD Planning Committee and the Missouri Botanical Garden; and their hard volunteer work was deeply appreciated and recognized by the St. Louis Chinese Language School, the CCD Planning Committee and the Missouri Botanical Garden.
