新的學期訂二零一二年一月八日下午一點註冊﹐兩點到五點上課。School Calendar, 2012 Fall 校址是在聖約瑟聾啞學校。該校在1809 Clarkson Road (Clarkson & Baxter交口)。學費每人每學期一百八十元(為優待同一家庭有一個以上學生上課﹐每多一名學生﹐學費減免五元﹐但必須來自同一家庭)。學校鼓勵家長到學校網站註冊﹐學費可以在開學時帶來。如用支票付學費﹐請開給聖路易中文學校。除成人班需要另交書費外其余學生免收書費。

Dear Parents and Students:
The 2011 fall semester will be opened on January. 8, 2012 and the on-site registration will be started at 1 p. m. School hours are 2 to 5 p. m. on Sunday afternoons, as usual, consisting of two periods of language learning and one period of cultural activities. Our school will use the St. Joseph Institute for the Deaf school (SJID) located at 1809 Clarkson Road (west of Clarkson & Baxter intersection). The tuition is $180 per student per semester. The new families are exempted from the registration processing fee. Text book fee will be waived for students younger than 18 years old, however, adult Chinese classes will need to pay for their own text books. In order to help simplifying the class assignment, the School encourages families to register at school's web site and you may bring in your tuition at the first day of the school. If you pay tuition by check, please make it payable to St. Louis Chinese Language School. Sorry, our school does not take any type of credit cards.

St. Louis Chinese Language School(STLCLS)is a non-profit organizaion with main objective of teaching Chinese language, promoting Chinese culture and providing related services to the general public. The School is open to anyone interested in learning Chinese language and culture, regardless of age, race, sex, religion and nationality.

  • 教學和服務:
    1. 學校每星期天下午兩點到四點五十分上課,校曆是比照本校大多數家庭去上的大公立學校的校曆而訂.
    2. 學校的課程分為語文課和課外活動。語文課按學生的中文程度分為以中文教中文和以英文教中文兩種體糸。語文課使用漢語拼音輔助學生發音.
    3. 課外活動是基於德智體群均衡發展的概念而設計的﹐為學生提供五十分鐘和中國文化有關的活動.
    4. 學校並有羽毛球,舞獅、舞龍等俱樂部和學生組織(代表學生和學校溝通)。
    5. 學校同時也為家長們提供各種活動和講座服務.

    Curriculum & Services
    1. The school is operated on Sunday afternoons from 2 to 4:50 pm. according to the calendars of the major Public Schools of which majority our families attend.
    2. The programs consist of language and enrichment classes. Language classes are tailored to student's knowledge of Chinese and separated into Traditional, Simplified and English tracks. All tracks are taught by native Chinese speaking teachers. Traditional and Simplified tracks use Chinese to teach Chinese. English track uses English to teach Chinese. All classes use Chinese pin-yin pronunciation system to aid students in pronouncing Chinese.
    3. The enrichment classes offer a variety of Chinese cultural related activities.
    4. Our school also has a Badminton Club, a student led Lion and Dragon Dance Club and a Student Council.
    5. The school also arranges different kinds of activities for parents.
